Job Description

We are looking for a Linux Kernel / Android Platform Engineer to develop and optimize kernel-level software, device drivers, and hardware integrations for embedded systems. The role involves hands-on work with Linux kernel development, debugging, and performance tuning, in collaboration with hardware and platform teams to build reliable Android-based solutions.

Core Requirements

Strong proficiency in C programming with solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
Hands-on experience in Linux Kernel development (Android-based systems preferred)
Experience in device driver development for low-level hardware peripherals such as: Camera, Audio, Sensors

and Display

Experience with Embedded Linux / Hardware integration at system level
Familiarity with kernel debugging tools such as JTAG, KGDB, ftrace
Exposure to SoC platforms (Qualcomm / MediaTek preferred)

Good To Have Skills

Kernel performance analysis and tuning
Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) development
Experience with factory tools / production validation environments
Contributions to upstream Linux kernel (patches, mailing lists, open-source work)
Experience in automotive or other embedded systems domains
