Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to perform data or business analytics to generate insights and recommendations. This includes following analytical best practices, analyzing and reporting accurate results, and identifying meaningful insights that directly support decision making. This role aids in supporting one functional area of the business in partnership with other team members.

What You Will Do

• Assist senior managers and lead analysts with building project plans and ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and timeline; provide high quality and timely delivery with insights and recommendations.
• Communicate analyses and insights to leaders by summarizing conclusions and solutions; translate analytics and statistics into clear, understandable themes for business leaders; identify specific analytic results that drive actionable insights.
• Utilize knowledge shared by more senior associates on how to best leverage disparate data sources, relevant internal/external data, and strong domain expertise to deliver on business needs.
• Ensure analyses and insights are accurate, impactful, timely and efficient.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools.
• Translate complex data into understandable insights and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide input into framework for measuring the impact of data analytics function is used where/when appropriate; participate in discussions of impact with stakeholders after each project.
• Participate in the process of testing and deploying new tracking solutions while monitoring and optimizing existing integrations.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, statistics, data or information sciences, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 2 years of related experience (fewer years may be accepted with a Master's or Doctorate degree)
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Experience with programming languages such as for data analysis
• Experience using visualization, business intelligence and reporting tools
• Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
  
  

Preferred Skills/Education

• Master’s degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, or related field
• Experience working with large unstructured data in a retail environment
