Who Were Looking For

This position is critical to the financial accounting and reporting function. The responsibilities include all aspects of accounting, month end closing activities, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, statutory compliance activities, financial reporting support and special projects.

Some Of What Youll Do

Scope of the Role:

• Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close duties and provide G/L support to accounting and finance managers.
• Possible areas of concentration include: cash, prepaids, expenses, fixed assets, accruals, payroll, or capitalized software.
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries for assigned duties including adequate support.
• Analyze accounts monthly for fluctuations and provide detailed explanations for variances.
• Assist with preparation of monthly internal financial reporting package and other ad hoc reporting activities as requested.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations in compliance with our internal control requirements.
• Provide support for evidence of internal control compliance.
• Tax compliance and statutory compliance activities.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide support for external auditors.
  
  

Experience, Education, And Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CA/CPA preferred
• 5+ years of experience (some level of public accounting preferred)
• SAP experiences desired
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Advanced computer skills including experience with MS Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
• Ability to identify areas of risk/concern in area of responsibility.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Fluent in English both oral and written skills.
• Technology / Telecom Industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP or IFRS.
