The Opportunity 

As part of RAN System Verification team, this role gives an experienced technical line and technology manager in India the opportunity to drive the delivery of Ericsson’s 5G solutions. you will lead development and quality assurance teams to ensure best-in-class product performance, capacity, and scalability. These teams work in an end-to-end customer-representative test environment and collaborating closely with the design teams. 

What you will do

Lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams to secure cutting-edge 5G NR product performance. 

Collaborate across global R&D units to integrate features and align technical direction.  

Ensure software deliveries meets rigorous quality, performance, and conformance requirements.  

Enable and support Continuous Deployment in a customer-focused environment. 

Drive innovative quality assurance strategies to maintain leadership in operational efficiency.

The skills you bring

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.  
• 10+ years of telecom R&D experience with at least 3 years in a line management or technical management role.  
• Proven expertise in quality assurance and verification, including test strategy, process and automation. 
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale software delivery and agile development. 
• Good knowledge of 5G NR/LTE architecture and key performance KPIs. 

Desirable Skills:  

• Exposure to O-RAN architectures and virtualization/containerization frameworks.  
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in telecom systems.  
• Understanding of 3GPP 5G NR standards.
