Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

The position is central to accelerating partner transformation toward secure networking, platform-driven business models. It focuses on embedding AI and AIOps capabilities into partner solutions, enabling predictive operations, automation, and data-driven decision-making across customer environments. The role drives adoption through technical leadership, solution innovation, and strategic deal engagement, helping partners evolve into intelligent solution providers.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Architecture, AI & AIOps Leadership

• Lead the design and execution of AI-enabled cross-architecture solutions across strategic partners
• Integrate AIOps, observability, and automation into networking and security solutions to deliver predictive and self-healing capabilities
• Establish and scale Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and partner practices
• Enable partners to leverage Cisco platforms (e.g., AI infrastructure, observability, and security analytics) for data-driven outcomes
  
  

Strategic Customer & Partner Engagement

• Act as the primary technical advisor on AI, AIOps, and cross-architecture solutions to partner leadership and customers
• Engage CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders to align AI-driven solutions with enterprise transformation goals
• Translate business challenges into intelligent, automated, and integrated architectures
• Shape long-term roadmaps incorporating AI adoption, data strategy, and platform integration
  
  

Technical Sales & Deal Acceleration

• Lead technical strategy for large, complex AI-led transformation deals
• Architect solutions that combine AI infrastructure, AIOps platforms, and cross-architecture capabilities
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated, outcome-driven proposals
• Position Cisco’s AI and AIOps capabilities to outpace competitors and drive market differentiation
  
  

Demand Generation & Innovation

• Identify and develop high-impact AI use cases across industries and partner ecosystems
• Lead demonstrations showcasing real-time insights, automation, and business outcomes powered by AI
• Build reusable frameworks for AI-driven cross-architecture solutions (e.g., smart operations, secure AI infrastructure, intelligent networks)
  
  

Qualifications

• Deep expertise across Cisco architectures with strong understanding of AI, AIOps, and observability platforms
• Experience in AI/ML-driven solutions, automation frameworks, or data-driven architectures
• Proven ability to influence senior executives on AI transformation and technology strategy
• Track record of leading complex, multi-architecture and AI-enabled engagements
