We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products through strong expertise in manual testing and API testing. In this role, you will take ownership of validating complex applications, identifying defects early, and ensuring seamless user experiences across systems. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies.

This position requires a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of testing methodologies, particularly in manual and API testing. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving testing processes, and ensuring that products meet both functional and performance expectations before release.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases based on product requirements and user scenarios
• Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms to validate endpoints, data accuracy, and system behavior
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with development teams
• Validate data flows between systems and ensure accuracy and consistency across integrations
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and clarify acceptance criteria
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of Agile development processes
• Contribute to test planning, test data preparation, and test environment setup
• Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders
• Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and quality standards
• Ensure documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports is accurate and up to date
  
  

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing
• Hands-on experience in API testing, including validating request/response structures, status codes, and data integrity
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and lifecycle processes
• Experience working with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to understand complex systems and identify potential edge cases
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive approach to quality, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement
