Design Verification Engineer

One of Our Client looking for a seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge hardware designs, contributing directly to the success of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.

Job Title : Design Verification Engineer

Location: Bangalore , Pune

Experience : 6 - 12 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans based on design specifications and architectural documents
• Create and maintain verification environments using industry-standard hardware verification languages (HVLs) such as SystemVerilog and UVM
• Design and implement test benches, including stimulus generation, monitors, and scoreboards, to thoroughly verify design functionality
• Perform functional coverage analysis to identify gaps in verification and improve test coverage
• Debug and analyze simulation failures, working closely with design engineers to identify and resolve root causes
• Collaborate with architects and designers to understand design intent and identify potential verification challenges early in the development cycle
• Contribute to the development and improvement of verification methodologies and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of verification code
• Manage and track verification progress, reporting status to project stakeholders
• Automate verification tasks and improve efficiency through scripting and tool development
• Evaluate and integrate new verification tools and technologies

Required Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of digital design principles and hardware architecture
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM verification methodologies
• Experience with simulation tools such as Cadence Xcelium, Synopsys VCS, or Mentor Quest
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skill
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications/Good to Have

• Experience with formal verification technique
• Knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, or US
• Experience with emulation platform
• Familiarity with coverage-driven verification methodologies
