Role Overview

The Creative Lead for Production owns quality and pipeline health for a pod of designers delivering creative across Video, Banner, Native, Interstitial, and Playable formats. You are the QA gate — every asset passes through your sign-off before it ships.

You sit at the seam between Creative Strategy and Production: translating briefs into executable direction, maintaining the teams output velocity, and protecting quality even at peak volume (20–30 tickets per day). This is not a pure management role. You are expected to stay hands-on — personally concepting, storyboarding, and executing — while leading, coaching, and developing your direct reports.

The right person sets the creative bar rather than enforcing someone elses, and finds the balance between forward output and quality control without dropping either.

Key Responsibilities

• Own production quality standards across all formats and enforce the QA matrix — every asset passes your sign-off before shipping
• Direct creative execution across channels and set the bar for what "done" looks like
• Manage the QA pipeline end to end: review and approve RZR Studio submissions, flag revisions, track resolution at 20–30 tickets per day at peak, with first-review turnaround under 2 hours
• Triage and allocate bandwidth across your pod, flag bottlenecks before they become backlogs, and deliver a daily pulse on pipeline health
• Coordinate with the Creative Strategy Lead on brief-to-execution alignment, escalating collated feedback when strategic creative revisions run heavy on first pass
• Drive production workflow and tooling improvements, owning the teams iteration velocity and output volume targets
• Maintain and update the Playbook and RZR Studio Templates on every new account launch, with same-day turnaround
• Run 1:1s and development check-ins with all direct reports; report pod output metrics to the Director of Creative Services

Required Skills and Experience

Must-Have

• 7+ years in creative production, motion or graphic design, or multimedia design within digital, gaming, or adtech
• Hands-on fluency across the Adobe Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects — at a level where you can personally concept, storyboard, and execute, not just review
• Proven QA and production management experience: owning sign-off standards, SLA turnaround, and quality bars across multiple formats including Video, Banner, Native, Interstitial, and/or Playable
• Experience managing production pipelines at volume (20+ tickets per day equivalent) without quality slipping
• Track record of personally shipping strong concept work — storyboards, key art, or campaign creative — not just directing others output
• Familiarity with platform-specific creative specs and constraints across DSP, Meta, TikTok, and ASO
• Experience managing and developing a team of designers (3+ direct reports), coaching on craft not just workflow
• Comfortable translating strategic briefs into clear, executable production direction
• Strong written and verbal communication — able to give craft feedback that lands and escalate risk clearly

Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience in adtech, programmatic advertising, or mobile advertising creative
• Familiarity with AI-assisted production tooling and a clear view on where human craft judgment must stay in the loop
• Experience working across international or distributed creative teams

Work Setup

This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, India, requiring regular onsite attendance for collaboration, reviews, and team activities. This is not a fully remote position. Creative team members may occasionally be required to work onsite more frequently depending on project demands.
