Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner (02M26) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and smooth operation of the supply chain within an organization. This role demands a strategic thinker who can anticipate market dynamics and align supply chain processes accordingly. The planner must possess a keen analytical mind, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various internal departments and external suppliers. The core objective of the supply chain planner is to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs while maintaining the quality and timely delivery of products. This role is essential in balancing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the company can meet customer demand efficiently, adapting strategies as necessary to improve the overall supply chain performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain process improvements for optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock situations.
  • Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Create demand forecasts and align supply plans to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in supply chain planning or logistics.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and develop strategic supply chain plans.
  • Strong negotiation skills for supplier management and cost control.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
