Job Description

As a Strategic Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and nurturing key client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement account strategies that will position both the company and its clients for long-term success. You are the central point of contact for your accounts and will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients' strategic objectives. As a vital member of the team, you will need strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of market trends to effectively drive growth and achieve business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Analyze client needs and propose solutions that align with company capabilities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic account initiatives on time.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and develop sales strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends to anticipate changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all account management-related activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account performance and growth opportunities.
  • Implement processes for continuous improvement in account management services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor junior account managers to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Resolve complex client issues promptly to maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed in client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in account management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts successfully.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and achieve favorable contract terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software applications is essential.
