We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Software Tester to join our dynamic tech team. Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases for software projects.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, inconsistencies, and other issues in software.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely application solutions.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing for front-end and back-end systems.
• Support the development team in the diagnosis and rectification of issues identified.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports.
• Verify that software functions meet business objectives and user expectations.
• Participate in the review of system designs and specification documents.
• Provide timely feedback to improve development processes and overall software quality.
• Assist in version control and release management to ensure seamless software updates.
• Liaise with end-users for feedback and suggestions on software performance.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies for better efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated tests.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing assignments simultaneously.
