Responsibilities

  • Manage all operational aspects of the store to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and resolution of issues.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance store profitability and performance.
  • Supervise store staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with the central office to ensure inventory accuracy and shrinkage control.
  • Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and promote customer loyalty programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and competitive pricing.
  • Organize and execute promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales.
  • Handle financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and expense control efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a store manager role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited for customer interaction.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Sound knowledge of retail management software and point of sale systems.
  • Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and controlling expenses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
