Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon their arrival at the restaurant.
• Present menus to guests and provide detailed information when asked.
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS system as needed.
• Serve food and beverage orders to guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure tables are set properly before new guests are seated.
• Respond promptly to any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or complaints quickly.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of restaurant areas for events.
• Maintain a clean and organized service station and work area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
• Ensure all guests are provided with the check and any necessary wrapping for leftovers.
• Follow all restaurant procedures and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a waiter or in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong communication skills with guests, team members, and management.
• A keen sense of detail and accuracy in taking customer orders.
• Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
