The position of Receptionist cum Admin is integral to the smooth functioning of any organization. This dual-role position requires an individual who is organized, efficient, and possesses excellent communication skills. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, the receptionist cum admin plays a crucial part in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Not only are they responsible for managing the front desk operations, but they also handle important administrative tasks that support the overall functioning of the office. Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk by greeting all visitors and clients professionally.
  • Handle and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception and office area at all times.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and conferences.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing documents.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support HR functions including on-boarding processes and employee record management.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations when required.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of data, and maintain office protocols.
  • Assist in planning company events, luncheons, meetings, and special projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail in every task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this role.
  • Proficiency with office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and scanners.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-oriented attitude and pleasant personality.
