Quality Auditor – FMCG (225-909)

The Quality Auditor in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is an integral part of the production and quality assurance teams. This role focuses on ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and adhere to industry regulations. The Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting audits, evaluations, and inspections of products, processes, and systems. Through meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach, the Quality Auditor helps in maintaining the reputation of the brand by ensuring consistent product quality. The position requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and thorough knowledge of quality control processes. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality audits for the production processes to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials to determine product quality standards adherence.
• Document audit findings, prepare reports, and communicate results to the management team.
• Monitor and ensure that all manufacturing processes align with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Work closely with the production team to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update quality control procedures to enhance product consistency and reliability.
• Coordinate with suppliers to address quality-related concerns and establish preventive measures.
• Train and mentor junior staff on quality assurance techniques and standards compliance.
• Analyze quality data and trends to suggest improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review and approve quality documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy according to compliance needs.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and help address any non-conformance issues identified.
• Stay updated with industry quality standards and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality auditing, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies.
• Proven track record of implementing successful quality control practices and procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret statistical data effectively.
• Strong communication skills to convey audit results and recommendations clearly.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001) is highly desirable and advantageous.
