Job Description

As a Quality Auditor in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, you play a critical role in ensuring that products meet industry standards and customer expectations. Your primary responsibility is to evaluate and analyze the quality management processes and systems of the company. This role involves working closely with production, operations, and quality control teams to implement and maintain quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with regulations. As a Quality Auditor, you are expected to have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of industry standards. You will act as a liaison between management and workforce, advocating for continuous improvement and quality assurance to enhance the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop detailed audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement areas.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations and company policies regularly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality management systems.
  • Identify and report any deviations from established quality guidelines promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all audit findings and actions.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards and practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in risk assessment and management related to product quality.
  • Report audit findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
  • Help establish and maintain a culture of quality across all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in quality auditing within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and other relevant quality regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • Proven track record of implementing effective quality assurance processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
