Job Description

As a Procurement / Supply Chain Executive, you will play a critical role in managing the overall operational aspects of supply chain logistics and procurement within the organization. Your primary mission is to develop efficient supply chain strategies aimed at optimizing the procurement process, minimizing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. This dynamic position requires a professional who is not just adept at negotiating and managing vendor contracts, but also proficient in analyzing market trends, and forecasting inventory needs. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, developing strong supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives and goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new supply opportunities.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and governmental regulations in procurement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to align supply chain objectives and processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to inform decision-making processes.
  • Implement and track key performance indicators for procurement and supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to reduce waste and improve supply efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for the efficient distribution and transportation of goods.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with business analytics tools.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in cost savings.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
