Job Description

A Pricing Coordinator is an essential part of any organization, particularly in companies that handle a large volume of products and services. This role involves managing and analyzing pricing strategies and ensuring that they align with the company's overall financial goals. The Pricing Coordinator works closely with marketing, sales, and finance teams to ensure competitive pricing that maximizes profitability while meeting customer demands. Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing strategies to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop pricing strategies.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with company's overall financial and operational strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed pricing proposals to senior management teams.
  • Monitor pricing policies and recommend adjustments as necessary based on market trends.
  • Maintain pricing databases and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular pricing audits to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Liaise with IT teams to ensure robust pricing systems and software are utilized effectively.
  • Provide training to sales and marketing teams on pricing systems and strategies.
  • Develop reports and analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
  • Assist in the development of promotional pricing strategies to increase market share.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to pricing and offer solutions to pricing issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis or similar analytical roles preferred.
  • Solid understanding of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
  • Proficient in using pricing software and Microsoft Excel for data management.
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
