Job Description

As a Physiotherapist, you will be tasked with assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical dysfunctions and disabilities. Your role will require keen observational skills, patience, and a thorough understanding of physical therapies to help restore movement and function. As a valued member of our medical team, you will be engaging with a diverse range of patients, from individuals recovering from surgery to athletes needing rehabilitation. Your goal is to improve the quality of life of those in need through personalized rehabilitation plans, preventive care, and health promotion. You must be prepared to work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to achieve comprehensive patient care, ensuring a holistic approach towards patient outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  • Diagnose physical conditions and provide effective physical therapy and interventions.
  • Assist patients with mobility tasks and prescribe exercises to enhance physical function.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home care exercises.
  • Utilize manual therapy techniques to relieve pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly for optimal recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical notes.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.
  • Provide patient-centered rehabilitative treatments ensuring the best patient experience.
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in case conferences and recommend appropriate physical therapy interventions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physiotherapist or eligible to obtain one.
  • Strong clinical skills with proficiency in a range of physical therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation settings with diverse patient populations.
  • Commitment to continued education and keeping current with advances in physiotherapy.
