As a Performance Tester, you will be pivotal in ensuring that software applications meet or exceed user expectations for performance, stability, and scalability. You will utilize advanced testing tools and methodologies to diagnose, report, and resolve performance issues within our software solutions. Your keen analytical skills will allow you to develop and implement test plans, establish performance baselines, and understand system behaviors under load. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using appropriate testing tools.
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and suggest improvements for performance.
• Work with development teams to resolve any performance-related issues.
• Establish and document performance benchmarks for software applications.
• Create detailed test plans, including scope, environment, and test data requirements.
• Identify potential system bottlenecks through comprehensive load testing.
• Monitor live system performance to identify real-time issues quickly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand performance testing needs and requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior performance testers.
• Report performance test findings and metrics to development and management teams.
• Develop automation scripts to support performance testing efficiency.
• Continuously update performance testing processes and tools to reflect industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neoload.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics accurately.
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, Java, or C# for test automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and performance monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with different teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
