The People Operations Specialist is a pivotal role within the HR department of an organization, focusing on enhancing the employee experience and ensuring smooth human resource operations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking advice or assistance with HR issues.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, payroll, and personal data.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Manage employee performance reviews to facilitate career development and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Support change management processes, helping employees transition during organizational changes.
  • Deliver training programs on company policies, procedures, and tools to staff members.
  • Advise on salary, compensation, and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement HR projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a human resources or people operations role.
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation and employment law compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with HR software and payroll systems is highly desirable.
