Job Description

The Operations Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, productivity, and safety. This role demands excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage resources effectively and motivate teams. An Operations Manager will work closely with various departments to establish and implement processes that will enhance operational capabilities and drive the company towards achieving its goals. Additionally, this role requires constant evaluation of current operational systems and proactive measures to make improvements. The ultimate objective is to drive operational excellence and ensure operations align with the corporate strategy.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational policies and strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve optimal productivity.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with different departments to evaluate workflow and propose improvements.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues swiftly to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Manage budgets, forecast operational costs, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure health, safety, and quality compliance across all operational activities.
  • Lead and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance levels.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators and present progress reports regularly.
  • Implement technology solutions for streamlined operations and enhanced productivity.
  • Evaluate and enhance operational processes in line with changing market demands.
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders for better negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in an operations management role.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the resilience to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and communicate them clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency with operation management software and MS Office tools is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and monitoring operational metrics.
