Job Description

The Operations Executive (Inbound and Inventory) is a vital role within our supply chain management team, focusing on overseeing and optimizing the inbound logistics and inventory management functions. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient and timely receipt of goods, along with maintaining accurate inventory records to support the fulfillment of customer orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong logistical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Serving as a liaison between suppliers, warehouse staff, and other internal stakeholders, the Operations Executive must exhibit strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all processes within the inbound and inventory functions operate smoothly and efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the timely receiving and processing of inbound shipments from various vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement and supplier management teams to align on delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive inventory records to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee the storage and organization of inventory within the warehouse facilities.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet forecasted demand without overstocking or understocking.
  • Implement and optimize warehouse management systems for efficiency improvements.
  • Liaise with transportation providers to ensure optimal routing and timely delivery of products.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory status, inbound shipments, and logistics metrics.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inbound deliveries promptly.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for inventory and inbound logistics.
  • Provide training and support to staff concerning inventory management best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inbound logistics and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to maintain accuracy in inventory records and reporting.
