Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Onsite Infrastructure Support Resource to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a vast understanding of network systems, hardware configurations, and software applications, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently. In addition to technical expertise, exemplary customer service skills are essential, as this role directly interacts with end-users and other stakeholders. As part of our commitment to delivering excellence, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with our IT team to enable seamless infrastructure management and support, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity for the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support all onsite IT infrastructure to ensure continuous operation.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely fashion.
  • Conduct regular system audits and generate relevant reports for management.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for equipment and software procurement.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on various IT facets.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and data backup procedures.
  • Ensure IT security is maintained through regular updates and vigilance.
  • Develop and implement new technologies to streamline company operations.
  • Document and update technical support processes and user guides consistently.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations and respond to critical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of network and server infrastructure configurations.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
  • Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) is preferred.
