We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer L2 to join our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing our robust network environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of our network infrastructure. As a Network Engineer L2, you will implement network solutions, troubleshoot issues, and work on network enhancements to meet our organizational needs. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network configurations and architecture to support business activities.
• Monitor network performance proactively to ensure optimal operations and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner to support users and applications.
• Perform network diagnostics to identify, analyze, and solve complex network problems.
• Collaborate with IT team members to achieve seamless integration of new network technologies.
• Manage and update documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures regularly.
• Provide second-level support for escalated network incidents from the helpdesk team.
• Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Ensure network security measures are implemented to protect data and systems from threats.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of network infrastructure for improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners for specialized equipment and service requirements.
• Support and mentor junior network engineers in developing technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in network engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with network security concepts and technologies such as firewalls and VPNs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex network issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
• Relevant certification such as CCNA or CCNP is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to achieve goals.
