The Network Architect is a vital role within our IT department, responsible for designing and deploying complex network solutions that support our business operations globally. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable network architectures that meet current and future needs. The position calls for a thorough understanding of both hardware and software to ensure seamless communication and interaction between various network elements. In addition to technical expertise, the Network Architect must have excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network performance issues efficiently. As a key player in our technology strategy, the successful candidate will also be expected to conduct thorough research on emerging networking technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy high-performance network architectures for enterprise-level environments.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop network strategies and solutions.

• Develop and oversee disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Provide technical expertise and support during network-related incidents and outages.
• Train and guide network engineering teams on architecture best practices and standards.
• Evaluate and recommend networking hardware and software for optimal performance.
• Document network architecture designs and maintain detailed records for reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in network design, implementation, and management.
• Proven expertise in routing, switching, and network security protocols and technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of networking hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions and virtualization technologies.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications, such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
