As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are displayed in the best possible light to attract customers and drive sales. Your responsibilities will include planning and developing merchandising strategies, working closely with suppliers and retail buyers, and regularly visiting brick-and-mortar stores to ensure the effective implementation of merchandising plans. Successful candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of customer preferences and market trends. This role requires both creative and analytical skills to develop effective display strategies, analyze sales data, and adapt plans as necessary to optimize product visibility and sales across all retail formats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
• Collaborate with suppliers and retail buyers to negotiate product displays.
• Visit retail locations to monitor merchandising practices and display compliance.
• Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to adjust merchandising plans.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to develop coordinated merchandise plans.
• Create visual displays that attract and engage customers effectively in stores.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure that key products are always in stock.
• Evaluate merchandising performance and adjust strategies based on data analysis.
• Regularly provide reports on merchandising activities and store compliance issues.
• Train and support sales staff on product placement and visual presentation techniques.
• Liaise with store management to ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Innovate and test new merchandising ideas to improve store engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar position.
• Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation and strategy development.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to travel regularly to various retail locations as required.
• Creative flair with a good eye for visual merchandising and presentation.
• Experience with merchandising management software and tools is advantageous.
