Job Description

As a Medical Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. Your primary objective will be to enhance the visibility and awareness of our medicine portfolio within specified territories to increase sales and drive business growth. This position is critical in establishing long-standing relationships with healthcare providers, enabling them to make educated product choices for their patients. Additionally, you will need to stay updated on medical knowledge and competitor information to adapt to evolving market needs. Your role also involves planning and executing marketing strategies, setting sales targets, and working towards achieving them, while maintaining compliance with relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.
  • Develop strong working relationships with doctors, pharmacies, and hospitals.
  • Keep updated with the latest medical knowledge and drug developments.
  • Organize and attend healthcare-related meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Regularly report sales and market activities to the management team.
  • Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with sales targets.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide suitable recommendations to counteract them.
  • Ensure implementation of sales strategies to improve market penetration.
  • Attend training sessions and develop product knowledge to enhance personal sales skills.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to healthcare providers effectively.
  • Provide after-sales support and seek continued customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to pharmeceutical industry regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a medical sales position or a relevant field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical products and their market conditions.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and sales targets consistently.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Able to quickly adapt to rapid changes in the medical industry.
