Job Description

As a Medical Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. Your primary goal is to increase product awareness, provide valuable information, and generate sales for the products assigned to you. You will work within a designated territory to meet sales targets, develop professional relationships, and represent the company in a knowledgeable and ethical manner. This position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to understand complex product information, and the dedication to work independently and achieve sales objectives. Responsibilities

  • Present and promote company products to healthcare professionals through detailed presentations.
  • Conduct regular visits to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor products to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Achieve designated sales targets by consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships within the healthcare sector.
  • Organize and attend medical conferences, exhibitions, and events to promote products.
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, expense accounts, and other documentation.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and industry developments.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop branding and outreach strategies.
  • Provide feedback from clients and healthcare professionals to the product development team.
  • Attend training sessions to keep informed about new products, medical practices, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of the industry, including its products and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
