Job Description

The role of a Logistics & Commercial Executive is integral to ensuring the seamless operation and profitability of a company's trade and distribution activities. This multifaceted position involves overseeing the logistics, supply chain processes, and commercial activities, ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently, and services meet customer expectations. As a Logistics & Commercial Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the shipment and delivery of products, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and analyzing market trends to enhance company growth and efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities to effectively liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and optimize the logistics process from point of origin to delivery.
  • Oversee and manage the lifecycle of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and clients to ensure cost-effective deals.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate changes and minimize risks.
  • Maintain robust relationships with vendors to ensure continuity of service.
  • Develop strategies to streamline supply chain processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in logistics and commerce.
  • Monitor performance metrics for logistics operations and commercial activities.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics and commercial activities for senior management.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align commercial strategies with business goals.
  • Implement technology solutions for improved logistics and commercial functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and commercial roles.
  • Proven ability to manage and negotiate with vendors and clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to make strategic decisions.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management processes.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software preferred.
