Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will serve as the crucial link between our company and its most significant clients. Your primary role will involve maintaining and enhancing robust relationships with these key accounts to foster long-term engagement and satisfaction. You will be responsible for understanding the client's unique needs, developing strategic plans for account growth, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. The successful candidate will be adept at client communication, strategic planning, and have the ability to navigate complex organizational structures to meet both the client's and the company's objectives. This role requires someone proactive, highly organized, and excellent at solving problems to support our overarching business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Understand clients' unique needs and industry trends to provide tailored solutions.
  • Create strategic account plans focused on client growth and retention.
  • Communicate complex ideas and plans clearly between the client and internal teams.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and benefit both parties.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for upselling and cross-selling existing accounts.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of key accounts against goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the support and services provided to clients.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
  • Develop and present quarterly business reviews to key stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives to improve key account management processes and client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a relevant role.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and customer satisfaction drivers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Adept at using CRM software and MS Office for client management and reporting.
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team environment.
