Responsibilities

• Assist senior video editors in creating engaging video content for various platforms.
• Review raw material to determine the shots that best tell the story.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video product.
• Collaborate with creative team members to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining video files for easy access and retrieval.
• Contribute to the brainstorming sessions to generate unique and creative video ideas.
• Stay updated on video editing trends and incorporate relevant techniques into projects.
• Prepare rough and final cuts for review by production and marketing teams.
• Respond to feedback from producers and stakeholders to apply necessary revisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Junior Video Editor or similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of video production and post-production processes.
• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling and visual composition skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask while managing tight deadlines.
