Job Description

As a Jewellery Sales Executive, you will be a crucial part of our sales team, responsible for bringing a personalized and engaging experience to our customers. Your role will involve showcasing and selling a variety of exquisite jewellery items, helping customers find pieces that best suit their style and needs while achieving sales targets. You will use your knowledge of jewellery products to answer questions and offer advice to customers, ensuring that they have an exceptional shopping experience. To thrive in this role, a passion for jewellery, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach are essential. The position also requires you to maintain the showroom’s aesthetic appeal, manage inventory, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers as they enter the jewellery showroom with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current jewellery trends to offer expert advice to customers.
  • Demonstrate and explain the features and advantages of jewellery products to prospective buyers.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to achieve individual and store sales targets consistently.
  • Handle transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in pricing and payment processing.
  • Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining an attractive display of all jewellery pieces.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Manage stock levels, ensuring fast-moving items remain replenished and available.
  • Understand and adhere to security procedures to protect inventory and prevent theft.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and informative customer records and sales reports.
  • Participate actively in promotional events or marketing initiatives to attract potential customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations within the showroom.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in jewellery sales or a related customer service position is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late evenings.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a strong ability to close sales effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of jewellery appraisal and care is a significant advantage.
  • A positive attitude and an eagerness to continuously improve sales techniques.
