The IT Project Manager is a pivotal role within any organization, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple complex IT projects. You will be the bridge between technology and business, ensuring projects align with the overall business objectives, whilst managing the constraints of scope, schedule, budget, resources, stakeholder expectations, and risk. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills to navigate and deliver on challenging and rewarding projects. As an IT Project Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to plan, within budget, and aligned with customer and company standards. Your leadership will steer the project’s course while nurturing high-performing teams and ensuring that every project is delivered with excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, budget, and timelines.
• Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects within performance standards.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure project success.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Report project status to stakeholders and executive management regularly.
• Implement project management methodologies and practices for best outcomes.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior staff and encourage professional growth within project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management roles.
• Proven experience in handling multiple IT projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a desirable advantage.
