Job Description

The Interior Fit-Out Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the planning, organizing, and managing of interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. This position is pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting high-quality standards. The Project Coordinator works closely with clients, design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and execution of tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach are necessary to handle changes and challenges efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a firm grasp of project management principles, interior design processes, and excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration among all stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all phases of interior fit-out projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates for client approval.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress by regularly tracking schedules and budget adherence.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to clients and senior management.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee project execution and address any onsite issues.
  • Facilitate communication between design teams, engineers, and build contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout projects.
  • Manage any changes in project scope, schedule, and costs through proper documentation.
  • Resolve project issues promptly to minimize delays and client dissatisfaction.
  • Coordinate post-project evaluation and feedback sessions with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing interior fit-out projects or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to interpret design blueprints and oversee their practical implementation.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools like MS Project or Asana.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle project challenges and obstacles.
