Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts that meet client requirements and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings and design specifications using CAD or relevant software.
• Select and source furniture, fixtures, materials, and color palettes.
• Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure the design is implemented successfully.
• Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of design projects.
• Oversee site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and standards.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and interior design innovations.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments.
• Provide guidance and support to junior design staff and interns.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members throughout the project.
• Create space plans and layouts that optimize the functionality and aesthetics of the environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.
• Proven experience as an interior designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Excellent knowledge of CAD software and other design tools is essential.
• Strong understanding of color theory, material finishes, and aesthetic concepts.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas clearly.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
