Job Description

The HR Officer is a pivotal role within the Human Resources department, tasked with overseeing employee-related programs, formulating employment policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This position serves as a bridge between management and employees, facilitating smooth communication and addressing workplace concerns effectively. The HR Officer also plays a key role in recruitment, handling employee onboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. Furthermore, they are responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role requires a keen understanding of human resources practices and excellent interpersonal skills to manage all levels of employment matters, contributing to fostering a positive work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication among employees and management on HR-related matters.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and manage employee assessment programs.
  • Design compensation and benefit plans that align with employee needs and business goals.
  • Ensure all HR operations comply with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues by investigating and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their HR needs and support them effectively.
  • Prepare and manage HR reports for analysis and decision-making by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Officer or similar role for at least 3 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage employee relations effectively.
  • Must demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Experience with HR software and databases for managing employee information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly.
