As a Guest Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all our guests. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied during their stay or visit. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to handle various guest inquiries and concerns will be critical to the success of our operations. You will be engaging with guests in person and over the phone, providing information and solutions to enhance their experiences. Your dedication to hospitality will be key in promoting brand loyalty and increasing guest retention.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure they receive a positive first impression.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide accurate information about services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with booking and reservation queries, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Ensure all guest areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Manage telephone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments if necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle financial transactions with precision.
  • Upsell additional services and products to enhance guest experiences and company revenue.
  • Monitor guest feedback and use it to suggest service improvements.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for guests from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Friendly and approachable personality with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and reservation systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is advantageous.
