Job Description

As a Guest Hospitality Associate, you will become an integral part of the hospitality team, ensuring each guest receives a welcoming and friendly experience. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of customer service, ensuring that every visitor feels valued and comfortable. You will use your exceptional communication and organizational skills to address guests' needs promptly and efficiently. In this fast-paced environment, you will find yourself multitasking various duties ranging from managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and providing concierge services to make every guest's stay memorable. Your presence will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience, fostering repeat business and enhancing the company's reputation.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly check-in experience.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist guests with concierge services, including booking reservations and recommending local attractions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guestroom concerns promptly.
  • Support the sales team by providing information on available services and amenities.
  • Manage guest complaints with empathy and seek efficient solutions to problems raised.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining guest records.
  • Perform cashier duties and manage cash/credit transactions accurately.
  • Provide guests with transportation information and assist with travel arrangements as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality is a plus.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality environment, is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for this role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office and hotel management software.
  • A friendly, approachable disposition and a professional appearance are essential.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
