Job Description

The Guest Hospitality Associate plays a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from start to finish. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering unparalleled service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This involves overseeing guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, responding to inquiries, and addressing any special requests or concerns guests may have. You are friendly, approachable and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds. With a keen eye for detail, you ensure that the environment is always clean, orderly and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized reception area at all times.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest preferences and issues.
  • Ensure accurate and secure handling of guest information and payment transactions.
  • Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist guests with reservations, transportation arrangements, and local information queries.
  • Track and follow up on guest feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to guests.
  • Monitor and restock reception supplies, including brochures and promotional materials.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance hospitality skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective guest interaction.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and basic computer skills.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet guest needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle guest issues effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor to represent the establishment positively.
