Job Description

As a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic sales plans aimed at achieving revenue targets and expanding the customer base. You will play a crucial role in driving sales for our freight forwarding services, building strong relationships with both new and existing clients, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and develop strategies to convert them into customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive recurring business.

  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with clients to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Provide clients with logistics solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of sales activities and client information.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate knowledge into sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related technology tools.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for client meetings.
