We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. This position is pivotal in driving sales and expanding our client base within the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. As a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive, you will be responsible for engaging with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic relationships to enhance the company's market presence. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and reports to management and clients.
  • Meet and exceed personal and team sales targets and KPIs regularly.
  • Travel to client locations as necessary to meet with potential and existing customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and handle any customer inquiries or complaints effectively.
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to network and promote company services.
  • Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM software is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend events.
