Food Quality Controller 08N25

The Food Quality Controller plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest levels of food safety and quality within our production processes. This role involves overseeing adherence to company and legal standards at all stages of food processing and production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and an in-depth understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. Attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring consumer safety are critical attributes for success in this role. As a Food Quality Controller, you will not only assess product quality but also ensure that production practices meet food safety standards, thereby protecting both our brand reputation and consumer health.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess product specifications and quality throughout the processing stages.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and update quality assurance procedures and documentation accordingly.
• Coordinate with the production team to address quality-related issues promptly.
• Train staff on food safety protocols and quality standards as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date records of tests and inspections conducted during production.
• Analyze quality control test results and provide reports to senior management.
• Identify and resolve any non-compliance incidents with corrective actions.
• Sustain high-quality standards by implementing continuous improvement processes.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistency in raw material quality.
• Ensure that all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient production processes while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in food quality control or assurance roles.
• Thorough understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using quality management software and tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence others positively.
