Job Description

The Finance and HR Associate plays an integral role in supporting the financial operations and human resources functions within an organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, aiding in budget planning, and managing payroll processes. As part of the HR team, the associate will assist in maintaining employee records, handling recruitment tasks, and responding to employee inquiries. Combining finance responsibilities with HR duties, this role requires a detail-oriented individual who possesses excellent organizational and analytical skills. With a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency, the Finance and HR Associate ensures compliance with relevant regulations and contributes to the smooth operation of the company's financial and human resources activities.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documents on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the company's annual budget.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to coordinate payroll processing and record keeping.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized employee files and records securely.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings and interview scheduling.
  • Support finance department in accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of financial and HR processes and records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and best industry practices.
  • Assist in the training and development programs for new and existing employees.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective solutions.
  • Participate actively in strategic planning and development meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in finance and HR roles or similar positions.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and payroll procedures and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees.
  • Knowledge of current labor laws, financial regulations, and HR best practices.
