Job Description

The Finance & Accounts Consultant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and optimal performance of an organization. This position involves offering expert guidance on financial strategies, analyzing financial data, and providing insights that drive informed business decisions. The consultant is responsible for assessing financial operations and identifying areas for enhancement, thus supporting business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial analysis techniques, coupled with experience in consultancy and a strategic mindset.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable business insights.
  • Develop financial models to support business planning and forecasting.
  • Advise on financial strategies and optimization of resources and investments.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance internal financial control systems and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to set financial targets and design budgets.
  • Create detailed reports on financial performance and project future cash flows.
  • Implement and oversee financial risk management practices across operations.
  • Perform audits and assessments of current financial processes and records.
  • Provide expert consultation on mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions.
  • Monitor financial markets to recommend strategies and respond to changes.
  • Facilitate training and workshops on financial best practices for staff members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in finance or accounting consultancy.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis and strategic financial planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data clearly.
  • Experience with financial software and tools for analysis and reporting.
  • Certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is preferred but not mandatory.
