Responsibilities

  • Travel to client locations to provide on-site equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure quick problem resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and report outcomes promptly.
  • Ensure all tools and spare parts are available and organised for service calls.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers on equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to schedule and follow-up on service calls.
  • Inspect and identify potential issues to prevent future equipment malfunctions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines while on client sites.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of service processes and procedures.
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple service calls within assigned regions.
  • Assist in the generation of customer feedback to improve service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a field service role, ideally within the equipment sector.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills for efficient problem resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively to various client locations as required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for travel purposes.
  • Proficiency in using service management software applications and tools.
