Job Description

The Field Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the sales force by engaging directly with clients to meet and exceed revenue targets. The role involves developing strong relationships and understanding each client's needs to provide tailored solutions. This individual should be a self-starter, possessing excellent interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, possesses strong negotiation skills, and is capable of working independently as well as part of a team. The role involves travel to various client locations, and requires a strong understanding of the products and services offered, as well as the ability to present these convincingly. The Field Sales Executive will be involved in all phases of the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring that customer objectives are met and exceeded, while representing the company with integrity and professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate potential sales opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and market gaps.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Manage sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation to closing deals efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted strategies for increased sales growth.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare and submit detailed sales activity reports and forecasts to management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas, meeting and exceeding company expectations consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably in a related industry sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills to close sales deals effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tracking tools.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for client meetings regularly.
