The Field Collection Executive (FCE) plays a crucial role in the financial sector by ensuring that outstanding debts are collected promptly and efficiently. As a Field Collection Executive, you will be instrumental in engaging with clients to facilitate payment collection, addressing queries regarding debts, and strategizing effective ways to reduce delinquency. Responsibilities

  • Visit clients to collect outstanding payments and achieve monthly collection targets.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with overdue account holders to minimize delinquencies.
  • Increase the recovery rate of overdue accounts through proactive client engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and progress of accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain financial terms and agreements clearly.
  • Report and provide feedback on status of delinquent accounts to management regularly.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for problematic accounts and escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the billing and sales team to ensure successful payment reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements in all collection activities.
  • Conduct field visits to enhance personal interaction and improve recovery success.
  • Evaluate financial status of clients and provide guidance to manage their payments.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with clients to achieve long-term resolutions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and handle pressure to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Thorough understanding of billing procedures and collection best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collection management software systems.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently for field visits.
