Job Description

An ERP & PMS Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Property Management Systems (PMS) within an organization. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity, performance, and reliability of systems that support multiple business functions such as finance, supply chain, inventory, and customer relations. The ERP & PMS Operations Specialist is responsible for executing strategic and tactical plans for system maintenance and enhancements, user training, and support, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The specialist acts as a liaison between different departments and the IT team, facilitating communication and understanding of system capabilities and limitations. Through their expertise, they help optimize and streamline business processes, contributing significantly to organizational efficiency and success.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize ERP and PMS systems to enhance business operations efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for system upgrades and security implementations.
  • Provide user training and support to enhance proficiency in system use.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation on system configurations and procedures.
  • Implement and uphold data integrity and security standards within the systems.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and IT for system needs and improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits and generate reports on system usage and performance.
  • Assist in the customization of ERP and PMS modules to meet specific business needs.
  • Analyze business processes to identify areas of improvement, suggesting appropriate system adaptations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through accurate reporting and data handling processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners for system support and maintenance contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in ERP and PMS system management roles.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and system functionalities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in managing system upgrades and conducting user training sessions.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with diverse teams.
  • Certifications in ERP or PMS systems would be considered an advantage.
  • Proven experience with data management and system integration projects.
