The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the electrical and instrumentation operations within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting, demonstrating expertise in both technical supervision and team management. This role involves ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The E&I Supervisor will collaborate with other department leads to optimize performance and productivity, while effectively leading a team of technicians and supporting staff. A commitment to maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring the safety of all team members and equipment is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the E&I team, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation tasks comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to electrical and instrumentation operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and task completion.
• Manage inventory of essential tools, equipment, and spare parts for electrical and instrumentation needs.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and work with the team to resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate actively in safety meetings and initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and techniques to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor in an industrial environment is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a technical team.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficient and safe resolutions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with team and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technology relevant to electrical systems.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industry safety practices and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
